Abstract
Objective: This study is to investigate the effect of muscle energy techniques in adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder.

Method: Selected five people diagnosed with subjects with adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder. utilizing muscle energy technology after applying heat treatment(20min) for the first It was performed for the treatment of power(20min). 3 times a week for four weeks for a total of 12 times, the treatment time was for 40 minutes. Use of motion during visual analogue scale(VAS), to evaluate the pain was measured joint range of motion(ROM). In order to measure the functional activity was assessed using the shoulder pain and disability index(SPADI).

Results: The pain showed a significant decrease from 4.8 to 3.2, and after exercise were significantly increased in all motion in ROM. SPADI showed a significant decrease from 30 to 16.4

Conclusion: Reduced muscle energy techniques of pain during treatment of patients with adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder, an increase of joint range of motion expected to be utilized as a basis material which can be used as a method of treatment of the frequency for improved arm function doing.
